ARM System is part of the Converged Application Server that helps you develop, build, deploy, and use applications in cloud (SaaS) and on-premises environments. Converged Application Server is a common, single-tenant platform for Remedy and BMC Helix Platform applications.

ARM System is based on a client/server architecture. The following figure depicts the relationship between the components that reside in each of the functional environments of the AR System architecture. Note that no definitive starting and ending point separates the environments as their functions sometimes overlapARM System est basé sur une architecture client/serveur. La figure suivante décrit la relation entre les composants qui résident dans chacun des environnements fonctionnels de l'architecture AR System. Notez qu'aucun point de départ et d'arrivée définitif ne sépare les environnements car leurs fonctions se chevauchent parfois.

Presentation

The presentation layer is responsible for presenting services and displaying data to clients through various interfaces including:

  • Browsers
  • Mobile phones
  • Computers
  • Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs)
  • Studio Developer
  • API programs

Business processing

the following business processing components handle data entered through clients, run services based on your business processes, and enforce your business rules. This part of the architecture includes:

  • Midrange
  • ARM System server
  • Server functions such as Distributed Server Option and Approval Server
  • Atrium Integrator
  • Web Services

Data storage

ARM System supports Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases for data storage. For each of the relational databases, tables belonging to other systems can be referenced as if they belonged to AR System .
